The Law Day Blood Drive was a huge success, both in terms of pints collected and awareness generated. I believe there will be a story on the WCYB news tonight (wouldn’t swear to it). The event was sponsored by the Russell County Bar Association, but co-sponsored by the Washington County Criminal Defense Bar (if only by virtue of my being President of both organizations).
Also, our inaugural Pro Bono Legal Clinic on Saturday was a hit, and we stayed busy all day taking calls and meeting with folks who had all sorts of legal issues and questions.
The Law Day Video is still a work in progress, but I hope to have it finished in the next few weeks.
